- Hi,
-
- Remember a while ago there was a couple of French guys who had written a version of Doom
- for the Falcon with the Virtual Memory.
-
- Because I sent him a letter and a disk of BM a few months ago her replied with the latest
- version.
- Its now started to use the DSP and relies less on the VM routines (I think)
- It works with Doom1.wad Doom.wad and doom2.wad.
-
- Its still nowehere as good as Dougs engine BUT does seem to have moving walls.
- I mean in e1m1 in the first DOOM wad, start off by going through the first left and up the
- stairs to get to a little circular platform. The bitmap around it was rotating reasonably
- well !
-
- I think either way he wants to carry on with his 'own' project.
-
- I'll try and upload it to FTP.CNAM.FR sometime (unless its there already!) tomorrow.
-
- Bye for now,
-
- -Simon
